Snapster v1.1.7 Photography WordPress Theme Free Download
I gave Snapster a whirl for a client who needed a clean portfolio site fast. Right off the bat, the gallery layouts felt intuitive masonry, grids, even a lightbox that didn’t feel like it was from 2012. The theme uses Elementor, which I usually side-eye for bloat, but here it actually made setting up project showcases pretty smooth. No coding needed, which the client loved.
WooCommerce integration worked out of the box, which was a nice surprise. I tossed in a print shop section, and the product display matched the portfolio aesthetic without any CSS wrestling. That said, the documentation’s pretty thin figuring out how to tweak the mobile menu spacing took more trial and error than it should’ve.
Performance-wise, it’s decent but not blazing. With a few plugins running, load times hovered around 2.5s on shared hosting. Not terrible, but not lightning either. If you’re just showcasing work and maybe selling a few prints, Snapster gets the job done without headaches.
